The Road to Society 5.0: Smart Technologies for Smart Society in the 21st Century

From urban areas to villages, we want to improve the living experience, to improve living quality in suburban and rural areas motivating people to deaccelerate the global urbanization process. Using tech solutions means that we need to build the affirmative legislative and regulatory framework to enable many new applications. It is not only about technologies, but it is important to consider the ethical and social impact side of the massive tech presence and applications. The key point is trust, we need to be sure that privacy and cybersecurity issues will not cause demotivating issues for the broader population. In this talk, we will learn how to observe the challenge from a multistakeholder perspective and how to successfully finalize the process of the digital transformation of the society – to Society 5.0 we name Smart and Sustainable Society.

Miloš Novitović
I am one of the product managers from the MVP Workshop, a blockchain product research, and development studio driven by the exploration of disruptive technologies and their application in real-life scenarios. As a part of this company, I had a chance to discover, define, and develop products while trying to solve different problems and needs using web3 technologies. Later I used to work for a marketing agency while in parallel exploring strategic marketing applications within the IT sector as a part of master studies. All of the above directed me into product management, and that is how I joined the MVP Workshop. At the MVP Workshop, I was responsible for bridging the gap between clients and a dedicated team of software engineers and product designers, understand the client’s ideas, and shaping them into a product. In the meantime, I joined our newly established R&D department (Incubator), which validates Web3 problem/solutions fits.

When Jyoti Guptara dropped out of school at the age of 15 to become a full-time writer, teachers couldn’t imagine they’d be inviting him back three years later to speak as a bestselling author. There, he realised that some of the best content came after and between presentations, informally – when people told stories. Guptara was quickly able to apply his decade of experience with fiction to executive education, helping business leaders find and tell stories to give better talks, pitch ideas and influence meetings. Of British and Indian descent, Jyoti lives in Switzerland with his wife and consults internationally. He has spoken and lectured on four continents.

How did INAT spirit / Innovation attitude spirit help you in your personal life or professional career?
Digital has been the innovative media I used to share my attitude to achieve more from our time, our business, our life.
My business and cultural proposition has been focused on interaction and integration of digital, humans and organisations in a global world. In doing this I’ve been perseverant enough to go live in 100% of digital transformation projects I managed with my team, rebel enough to overwhelm people was saying we can’t do it, I had the endurance to run a group of sometime wild race horses I called my company for 20 years and I got stamina enough to continue in innovative adventures with new companies in new businesses.
